About the talks

The how and why and wonder of spiritual healing
This talk explores the phenomena of spiritual healing as recorded throughout the Bible – healing that for centuries had allowed people to live their lives with dominion and not be victims to their circumstances. And it shows by present-day examples, that such healing is not something of the past, but is a present possibility – an accessible transforming power for good in our lives today. It’s shown how a knowledge of our inseparable relationship to God brings practical healing solutions. Also, how practical, effective prayer can help us all experience divine power and protection in our lives. Included are multiple examples of the practicality of spiritual healing, including protection from an attack, healing of a medically diagnosed ‘incurable’ illness and effects of a severe accident. Demystifying spiritual healing
This is a talk full of heart and practical application. Through analogies and healing examples, in Demystifying spiritual healing, we discover where genuine security in our lives really come from. The knowledge that there is a divine Principle underlying our lives that, when relied on, consistently brings peace and goodness to our lives, has been known and proved for centuries. We see that, by looking to God, Spirit, instead of materiality, the people in the Bible found reliable peace, healing and solutions to their everyday needs. And the discovery of the Science of Christ, by Mary Baker Eddy, shows how we too can experience this same peace, security and healing, in our lives. It brings us to the realization that, we can no more run out of the good that we need than we can run out of God’s love for us.

About the speaker

Practitioner of Christian Science healing and Member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship

Healing has been a part of Beth’s life all her life. Her parents both found Christian Science when in great need. Her father was healed through Christian Science, of a diagnosed fatal illness that had left him close to death. Her mother’s life of hardship and despair was also reversed through the joyous knowledge that Christian Science brought to her. Her mother went on to be a great healer herself.

To help and heal others as she had witnessed and experienced, became her life’s desire from a very early age. Beth has been invited to speak in many countries around the world, talking with audiences in such diverse situations as glamorous halls of Europe to the inmates in provincial prisons in the Africa and Asia. All receive the same healing transforming message – that God knows us all truly and loves us all deeply.
